We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic EYFS teaching assistant. You will work 22.5 hrs per week as a teaching assistant with an additional 3 hrs per week taking the class for Planning, Preparation and Assessment time. The teaching assistant post is Scale D £8.69 - £9.21 per hour plus 3 hrs cover paid as Instructor rate £13.12 - £20.75 per hour.

You will be someone who:

  • Is passionate about Early Years and is able to inspire children to be the best that they can be
  • Has experience working with EYFS children including delivering sessions
  • Is organised, proactive and confident in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Is able to ‘Bring learning to life’
  • Has excellent numeracy/literacy skills – GCSE grade C or above(or NV2 equivalent)
  • Has an NVQ3 or equivalent in teaching assistance or equivalent experience
  • Is able to work constructively as part of a team
  • Has good communication skills and can demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours
