Year 6 at Hilltop - January 2026

At the end of January, most of our Year 6 children had an amazing time on their residential trip to Hilltop. We stayed for two nights and had three days of activities, during which the children were constantly encouraged to challenge themselves, conquer their fears, and develop their teamwork skills. Some of the activities we completed involved working at heights: the Tree Top Trail, Super Swing, Big Zipper, and Crates. Our other activities relied more on teamwork and identifying individual strengths: Team Building, Assault Course, Owls and Mice, and Archery.

Whilst at Hilltop and not taking part in activities, the children were treated to three hot meals a day! Every morning, the children could enjoy a cooked breakfast, cereal, toast, and fruit — and that was just breakfast! In the evenings, we also had a tuck shop where the children could purchase souvenirs and drinks.
