Year 5 Perform at the Hanse Festival

On Sunday 17 May, the Hanse Orchestra of King’s Lynn made their debut as part of the King’s Lynn International Hanse Festival.

This new baroque orchestra featured some of Europe’s finest players on original instruments. Enjoy works by Telemann, Purcell, and Handel (the Fireworks and Water music). Year 5 children from our school joined the orchestra in a performance of a new work, the Crazy Composers suite. 

The children had worked alongised the orchestra practising for the three weeks leading up to the concert and even helped write some of the words to the very catchy song. The children performed brilliantly and gave it their all! The audience gave them a deservedly huge clap.
