Year 3 - Neolithic Britain Trip

We’ve had a brilliant day at Gressenhall learning all about Britain in the Neolithic (new) Stone Age! Here’s what we got up to…

🐄 Farming - hoed & ploughed fields and ground wheat using a quern stone.
🏕 Building dens - used teamwork to build dens in the woods out of long sticks, animal hide and string.
🐗 Hunting - learned how to sneak up on and hunt wild animals in a group with a throwing spear.
🪨 Flint-knapping - learning about how flint was used to scrape animal hides clean.
