Whitefriars Football Match
Children from the football team faced opponents South Wootton on a rainy Tuesday afternoon this week. Strong performances came from Jack and Bradley in goal which filled the team with confidence early on in each half. Daniel, Kajus and Eugene showed sturdy defending throughout the match. Fantastic midfield play came from Mantas, George, Ethan, Shanteal and captain Tyler. Our two strikers, Jamie and Lucas made the most of their chances both bagging themselves a goal.
Captain Tyler said: “We did very well in the match and so did South Wootton, we are all now very excited about our next game”.
My Kay was pleased with the team’s efforts and how every player was positive to one another and worked hard for each other. Additionally, every player involved showed brilliant sportsmanship towards our guests during the match. A big thanks to South Wootton for making the trip to Whitefriars.
