Reception at Chinese New Year Celebration

On Friday 27 January, the children from Reception had a lovely walk to the Vancouver Quarter Shopping Centre to see the excellent James Uglow Lion Group celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year in style.

" Miss Craig, the Birch Class teacher said "It was an amazing experience for everybody. The children loved the noise of the drums and were thrilled when the lion came near to us. They particularly enjoyed it when the lion fell over at the end!”
