Book Celebration

We have had a lovely week celebrating books at Whitefriars.

The children all enjoyed our visit from children's poet, James Carter and wrote some beautiful poetry of their own.

On Tuesday we all dressed as our favourite book characters and the best costumes from each class received a prize.

We also held our book fair and managed to raise £1117!!! The school will receive an amazing £610 of this to spend on new books so we would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported this.
