Air Ambulance - Surprise guest at Whitefriars!
This morning the East of England Air Ambulance landed on our playing field.
The children were on break when the helicopter first appeared and it was flying really low. It was all very exciting and once it had safely landed the children were invited to come for a closer look. Imagine their surprise when the pilot revealed himself to be Prince William!
The crew commended the children on how they behaved and Prince William came over for about 15-20 minutes to speak to the staff and children.
Fortunately the Air Ambulance crew were not needed at the local incident and left with a royal wave!
