A very merry Christmas to you all

What a festive and merry time we have had here at Whitefriars this month! It has been so nice to get back to normal and to invite parents in again after a few years of having to send our Christmas wishes remotely!

The children have taken part in the nativity, a Christingle Service, a whole school service at The Minster with Year 3 reminding us all about the first Christmas and the choir has been busy singing their carols.

The PTA ran festive family bingo which helped to raise over £600 for the school and also ran the bauble competition to help make the school library get all festive too.

Then we have had a Christmas jumper day and been able to offer a free Christmas lunch for every child.

Phew, we are all exhausted from all the exciting events and looking forward to the holiday. We still have the whole school pantomime trip,
